To power your storefront, we collect the following:
- Account Data: Your name, email address, business name, and store description.
- Contact Information: Your WhatsApp number (to connect you with buyers).
- Banking Data: Your bank account name and number (solely for processing your referral commission withdrawals and customer payments).
- Transaction Proofs: We store images of "Proof of Payment" uploaded by your customers to help you verify sales and prevent fraud.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your information strictly to:
- Generate and maintain your unique OjaPlug store link.
- Send you instant order notifications via email.
- Process your earned referral commissions to your provided bank account.
- Verify the authenticity of referrals to maintain a secure ecosystem.
3. Public vs. Private Information
Certain details are made public to help you sell: Your Business Name, Catalog, and WhatsApp Number are visible to anyone with your store URL. Your email address, password, and referral earnings remain strictly private.
4. Payment Security
For your ₦1,000 setup and verification fee and ₦900 maintenance fees, we use secured payment processors (like Paystack). OjaPlug does not see or store your debit card details. For your sales, funds move directly between banks; OjaPlug only stores the transaction receipt for your verification.
5. Data Retention
If you choose to stop using OjaPlug, you can deactivate your store at any time. We retain store data for 60 days after a subscription expires to allow for easy reactivation before permanent deletion.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged into your dashboard and to ensure your customers' shopping carts remain updated. We do not use intrusive tracking cookies.
